The RDR Ring Driver Rack acts as the central controller in the ATEÏS loudspeaker ring-isolation architecture. Designed for Voice Alarm and certified Public Address systems, it manages up to 8 Ring Driver Cards (RDC), each capable of supporting 500 W / 100 V loudspeaker loads and up to 100 Ring Protector Units (RPU). This ensures high loudspeaker line availability and makes the RDR suitable for large-scale buildings and public infrastructures.
During a fault condition, the RDR maintains continuous evacuation audio by supplying both loop branches independently, preventing system-wide audio loss. Status and diagnostic information is clearly displayed via front-panel LED indicators, and fault outputs are provided for integration with VACIE control equipment. The built-in RS-485 communication and USB port allow configuration, monitoring, and scalable system expansion across multiple racks.
Designed for certified life-safety environments, the RDR supports redundancy, monitoring, and rapid fault identification, ensuring system stability and compliance in airports, public buildings, transport terminals, commercial complexes, and industrial facilities.
