ATEÏS Ring Protector System: Enhancing Loudspeaker Line Reliability

ATEÏS introduces the Ring Protector System, an intelligent solution designed to enhance the reliability of loudspeaker lines in Public Address and Voice Alarm systems.

In large buildings and public environments, maintaining clear and continuous audio communication is essential, especially during emergency situations. A cable fault on a loudspeaker line can sometimes affect an entire audio zone and interrupt critical announcements.

The ATEÏS Ring Protector System addresses this challenge through a combination of RPU short-circuit isolators and the RDR Central Rack Controller.

The RPU (Ring Protector Unit) is installed along the loudspeaker line and automatically detects and isolates faulty sections in the event of a short circuit or cable break. This ensures that the rest of the loudspeaker network continues to operate normally.

At the heart of the system, the RDR Central Rack Controller supervises the ring topology and maintains reliable audio distribution across the installation.

Designed as an EN54 solution for voice alarm systems, the Ring Protector System helps ensure reliable audio communication and improved system resilience in safety-critical environments.
