Overview

Vox@ System

- Vox@ is a networkable audio solution based on various encoder/decoder devices which provide standalone audio solutions for all kind of applications.

  • Overview (0)

This solution requires NO centralized equipment of software. It supports PoE and can be powered via external 24 VDC supply. The network infrastructure of Vox@ enables deployment and management over an existing network. This provides a fast, easy and cost-effective integration solution for an existing or new building site. The system offers a high level of flexibility: each Vox@ end point device is individually addressed and can be configured locally or remotely.

All Vox@ devices are configured and managed via a web browser interface. This range of devices offers a wide variety of functionality including priority, backup & event management, event scheduling, level control, paging, groups of zones selection, Full Duplex audio communication, intercom, music streaming, audio routing, logic control, monitoring and much more. Complete status of each equipment can be viewed in real time via web pages and each equipment monitors the status of its components.

Why IP ?

Nowadays, almost all buildings are equipped with a network infrastructure, therefore audio over IP technology has the huge advantage of utilizing existing networks and crossing router for ease of integration.

Where to use it ?

From the standard applications like shopping malls, hotels, museums, theme parks, hospitals and schools, to more bespoke and specialized projects, IP networks exist nearly everywhere and thus IP offers such integration flexibility.

Which benefits ?

Vox@ is a competitive pricing and a highly flexible solution for all your application needs. By using the standard network and PoE technology, installation and maintenance is simplified.

Powerful Platform

Vox@ devices have a powerful processor which provides a list of remarkable features including priority management, event management, bell scheduling, local channel and volume control, paging, Acoustic Echo Cancellation and Noise reduction.

Professional Audio

Instead of non-professional connectors, our Vox@ range has balanced audio on terminal block connectors for the Pro Audio market.

Audio Streaming

Vox@ offers the possibility for audio streaming using standard RTP protocol in Unicast, Multicast or Broadcast. For In-Store applications, Vox@ streams using Shoutcast/Icecast protocols.

SIP Benefits

All Vox@ devices use SIP technology which gives you the benefit of having a standard session protocol with inherent simplicity. Therefore, it si compatible with the complex management of the IP address world.

PoE Benefits

Most Vox@ devices support PoE (Power Over Ethernet), therefore the constraint of having AC power outlets is eliminated. This provides flexibility in placing the Vox@ devices in various locations. Optimal placement leads to more efficient network designs and superior application performance. The network installation can be accomplished easier, faster and for less cost. It is also safer because you can centralise the power management and protect it with a UPS (Uninterruptable Power Supply). Lastly, by using a manageable PoE network switch via web browser or SNMP allows the networking devices to be reseted or shut down remotely, which saves timed expense of an on-site technician.

Management

All Vox@ devices embedded a web browser interface that enables you to control the devices through your favorite internet browser. For larger systems, you can use SNMP protocol. For more complex systems, the Vox@Net Audio Server Software will be your supervisor and management solution of your installation (Firefox web browser is suggested).
